Screening of a major new anti-racist education video - Hull City's KC stadium

A screening of the new Show Racism the Red Card video/ DVD took place on Wednesday 7th of December at 2pm at Hull City's, KC stadium.

Attending the event to help launch this resource in the area was Hull City duo, Craig Fagan and Kevin Ellison. The event will also featured a question and answer session on racism with the players, the questions were provided by the audience of 150 young people, from local schools.

The video includes interviews with Rio Ferdinand, Paul Robinson, Jermain Defoe, Jermaine Jenas, Fredrick Kanoute, Shola Ameobi, Ledley King, Gary Speed, Thierry Henry, Robert Earnshaw, Walter Smith, Sven Goran Eriksson, Joe Cole, Kieron Dyer, Ashely Cole, Damien Duff, John Hartson and Robbie Keane.

Ged Grebby from Show Racism the Red Card said: "This is the 10th year of our anti-racist charity and this latest video/ DVD has the backing of all the major footballing bodies in the UK. It is great to be back at Hull City to show another new video. This latest video aims to combat racism in society by using footballers as anti-racist role models. This video also aims to combat Islamophobia and has on it three top Mulsim players: Fredrick Kanoute, Nourreddine Naybet and Hamed Namouchi."
