Information & Support Worker - Wales

Show Racism the Red Card is an anti-racist campaigning and educational charity. Our aim is to combat racism through enabling role models, who are predominantly but not exclusively footballers, to present an anti-racist message to young people and society.

We are seeking to recruit an Information and Support Worker to join our campaign in Wales.

The post involves general office administration and effective administrative support for other staff, scheduling workshops and events, collating and inputing information onto databases and supporting the organisation at anti-racist events and workshops.

35 hours/week

Salary £15,570 - £16,663 (NJC pay scale 4 points 14-17)

6% pension

Applicant must have:

At least two years experience in a similar role.
Excellent computer skills.
Excellent communications skills; written, telephone and inter personal.
Commitment to anti-racism.
Ability to meet specific deadlines under pressure.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
