Arrest after asylum seeker dies


A 19-year-old man has been arrested after an asylum seeker died in the Sighthill area of Glasgow.


Wei Wang was found with serious head injuries outside flats on Pinkston Drive at 0055 BST on Tuesday, 25 July.


Mr Wang, who arrived in Glasgow three months ago, died in the Southern General Hospital on Sunday.


The man arrested is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday. Police said a report will be prepared for the procurator fiscal.
