Ronaldinho speaks out against racism

The world's most celebrated footballer has spoken out against racism in football and made a direct plea to football fans to join him in his call for equality.

Ronaldinho spoke out in an exclusive interview with 'Deutsche Welle tv' which appears in the FARE 'Football Unites!' fanzine.

FIFPro's World Player of the Year says in the fanzine; "Racism is a very serious matter. We are constantly trying to get the message across that it is wrong.

"I would say look at the other side to it; people are the same, irrespective of the colour of their skin, their race or whatever else.

"I'd like to say that racism is no the right way. Going to the stadium to have fun and support your team - to be happy. That's the right way."
