CECRA awarded FIFPro International Award

C.E.C.R.A, the Anti Racist Organisation in Spain, have awarded FIFPro an International Award for 2006 for their outstanding work against racism in football.

FIFPro Anti Racism Chairman Tony Higgins said "I am delighted to accept this award on behalf of FIFPro, it is important that players’ unions play a prominent role in trying to defeat this scourge in our game. It is nice to know that our initiatives across the world do not go unnoticed".

This award will be presented at a ceremony in Spain early next year.
