News in 200709th October 2007NME - The Love Music Hate Racism IssueIn shops: Wednesday 10th October 2007 The Love Music Hate Racism CD for schools, supported by the NME and the National Union of Teachers (NUT) has drawn a fantastic response with many top artists contributing exclusive tracks. The CD will be covermounted on the 13th October issue of the NME, and nme.com will be hosting a LMHR minisite from where you can download the tracks. Read on for full details. This special edition of the NME will feature a special LMHR-themed cover bringing together Lethal Bizzle, Babyshambles, Bloc Party, Dirty Pretty Things, The View and The Enemy, as well as feature articles about LMHR including a roundtable discussion with the artists on racism and music. Particular credit must go to Kill City's Lisa Moorish and to Babyshambles bassist Drew McConnell for getting the ball rolling to spark this CD into life and getting other artists and sympathetic music industry figures involved.
