Show Racism the Red Card in Wales

The latest update from Wales

03 May 2007

The Last few weeks has seen the campaign in Wales gaining support from other areas in sport. Boxing star Amir Khan took time out prior to his fight in Cardiff to meet up with the Wales Co-ordinator Sunil Patel along with Committee member Sanjiv Verdi at the Hilton Hotel.

Amir is a keen follower of the campaign and had previously attended a Show Racism the Red Card event at the Reebok stadium, the home of Bolton Wanderers FC.

We also arranged 10,000 posters to be printed of the Wales football squad with players holding up our red cards, these posters will be distributed throughout Wales.
